Vulcan Area Public & Petroleum Association (VAPPA)

Vulcan Area Public & Petroleum Association (VAPPA)

VAPPA generally meets bi-annually in June and October and, when able, hosts an annual Social Event and/or Information Event highlighting current topics of interest.

Committees are struck, as required, to deal with opportunities and concerns identified by the membership.

The group operates on a consensus basis with an appointed chair, a hired administrator and active representation by industry, government and community members.

Our Mission

To provide an opportunity for the public and petroleum industry to engage in meaningful discussions in an open and honest environment.

Our Vision

Cooperatively working together in a long-term relationship based on respect, honesty and open communication.

Membership is open to everyone and actively encouraged by the group.  We are financially supported by our industry members enabling all community residents and government representatives to participate free of charge.
