VAPPA generally meets bi-annually in June and October and, when able, hosts an annual Social Event and/or Information Event highlighting current topics of interest.
Committees are struck, as required, to deal with opportunities and concerns identified by the membership.
The group operates on a consensus basis with an appointed chair, a hired administrator and active representation by industry, government and community members.

Membership is open to everyone and actively encouraged by the group. We are financially supported by our industry members enabling all community residents and government representatives to participate free of charge.
Boundaries
The group attempts to build relations and share information regarding the petroleum industry within Vulcan County including Arrowwood, Brant, Carmangay, Champion, Kirkcaldy, Lomond, Milo, Mossleigh and Vulcan.
