The Fort Assiniboine and Area Multi-stakeholder Alliance is a community based, non-profit association, whose primary goals are to allow the public to communicate effectively with industry, and to ensure that development is conducted in a responsible manner.
FAAMA currently serves an area surrounding Fort Assiniboine, Alberta, including Townships 59 through 64 in Ranges 4, 5, 6 and 7 West of the 5th Meridian. During the 2011/2012 season the group will be tentatively expanding to include the rest of Barrhead County.
Our Vision:

Best Management Practices Guide
This guide is a result of ongoing consultations between local residents and industry representatives. It is hoped that the guide will address concerns raised by increased industrial activity in the Fort Assiniboine area. This is a living document, which may be revised as circumstances change in the future. We invite feedback on this document from both the public and industry.
